Women's World Day of Prayer

This ecumenical and worldwide day of prayer takes place once a year on the first Friday in March at a time and place arranged to meet local needs. Here in Monmouth, churches host the service in turn.

Each year, the service has been prepared by the women of a different country and the same order of service is used throughout the world - a great bond during the 24 hours of continual prayer.
