Parish Safeguarding Representative

There are currently 26 parishioners at St Mary's who have been cleared by the Archdiocese of Cardiff to work with Children, Young People and/or Vulnerable Adults. The parish is committed to the Catholic Safeguarding Advisory Service (CSAS) and has a Parish Safeguarding - formerly Child Protection - Representative (Lynne Derricott) who receives training, support and the latest information from the CSAS regarding individuals within the parish who work with children or vulnerable adults.

The Diocesan Safeguarding Officer is Rachael McMullen who can be contacted at the Safeguarding Commission on 029 20 379480. Any parishioner who works or who wishes to work in the parish with these vulnerable groups must contact the Parish Safeguarding Representative, who will liaise on their behalf with the Archdiocese.
